It’s time for a paradigm shift
These unsettling thoughts let’s sift
Even if you feel like you want to quit
Don’t cave in and give up on it
As Nike says, “Just do it!”
Put your back into it
Press on ahead, you’ll get through it
Don’t let your mental model ruin it
Let’s get divine revelation and renew it
Renew the spirit of your mind just in time
Lest you be crippled without reason and rhyme
Crippled because of an outdated cerebral concept
Which it’s time we disregard and boldly reject
Yourself and your destiny you can no more neglect
A gross deception do I smell, discern, and detect
Your self-esteem and personhood we must erect
If necessary welcome the Spirit of God to resurrect
Hope, faith, and the fire of desire within your heart
Lest from the positive, good, and great you depart
Awake to how wonderful you are, a work of art
Brilliant, intelligent, intuitive, sensitive, and smart
This paralyzing stinking thinking let’s discard
A check up from the neck up will remove mental lard
The lapse and emotional lull that puts you in a hole
Reconnect with the Creator and now be made whole
It is time to take back what the devil from you stole
Put your game face on like it’s the Super Bowl
Break the cycle of defeat and pattern of paralysis
Get rid of lethargy and excessive mental analysis
Make a new model by which to meaningfully live
Cultivate intellectual discipline and prepare to give
Your all, your best, and settle for nothing less
Examine every set of assumptions and presumptions
Ponder upon and eliminate disempowering presuppositions
Prepare a straight path for your feet and determine to complete
That which you set your heart and mind to
Let nothing get in the way, nor discourage you
Overcome irregularities that seek to deter you
Deal swiftly with interruptions that seek to disrupt you
Fight for your focus before others engage and ensnare you
Formulate your priorities and values of viewing the world
When lacking direction and absolutes consult God′s Word
Beware of categorizing people and things prematurely
Question others opinions, beliefs, and view of reality
Build and lay a firm foundation for yourself mentally
Construct and reconstruct yourself when necessary
Be open to new paradigms and transformation
Commit to continual personal growth and maturation
Be patient with yourself realizing such is a process
Remember you can have more if you don’t settle for less
Your perceived reality is not necessarily your destiny
Believe for more and press into the unknown boldly
Turning your fantasy into reality by means of your imagery
Harnessing your imagination to provide inspiration
Decide and prefer motivation rather than intimidation
Celebrating others successes and rejoicing in competition
Never allow momentary mental hiccups to dwarf or diminish
Your personhood, identity, or ability to fulfill and finish
Your glorious dreams, deep desires, and great destiny
Never be stunned or stilled by inhalations temporary
Inhalation of frustration, intimidation, or any preoccupation
With your inability, insecurity, or insufficiency
Because when you believe in yourself wholeheartedly
Confidence overrides incompetence as you tap the subconscious
You shall lay hold of God’s spiritual omnipotence and omniscience
Therein you shall find and discover your own inherent brilliance
As with your Creator you co-create and become
That prized, special, and acclaimed someone
Distinctive, distinguished, purposeful, and polished
Seeming setbacks you shall arise and demolish
Temporary emotional declines you shall smash
Uplift and shake yourself from the dust and ash
Get dressed in your finest and forge ahead with force
The power of positive thinking my friend is no farce
Overthrow your miniscule mindset and it divorce
Believe in the new you and set yourself on a new course
To collide with the enemies of your soul and begin to roll
Roll out the red carpet of success and celebrate yourself
Rejoice, marvel, and glory in you like nobody else
You were created in God’s superb and marvelous image
Therefore lift up your head and get a victorious visage
No sir, this is no phony, futile, and infantile facade
This is the alteration you need from an awesome God
The change you need to win comes from deep within
This is not merely rhetoric or some cute verbiage and spin
It is a paradigm shift facilitating divine transformation
Removing all inferiority, isolation, and social alienation
Causing you to prosper and achieve personal maximization
As you connect with the Creator and live like a new creation.
