Music Producer Information

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Let’s take an in-depth look at some different music producer information. A music producer is also known as a record producer. They have various job functions to perform, such as focusing on the recording sessions helping the musicians organizing and scheduling the promotions, productions, and the budget.

They also supervise the initial recording of songs, along with any mixing and mastering the process. The music producer also helps create, and make the music the best it can be and make sure it flows into the albums vision or designs. They are also responsible for the paid technicians, musicians, and can even choose music for an entire album.

The pay of the music producer changed rapidly after the first independent producer came along in the mid 1950s. Then the studios, which allowed people to come in and pay for an hour or two of time, caused even more change. Many of these were former record company employees.

Since the role of the music producer changed, so did their influence on the music industry, singers and songwriters as well. There are many famous music producers known today such as Don Kirshner, Mickie Most, Rick Rubin, RZA, Dr. Dre and Timbaland. Those are only a few of them and there are even hundreds more out there.

The salary of a music producer can vary depending on where they work, what clients they represent, and their location. The amount of time they have spent in the business also plays an important role on the salary as well. Once you have considered these parts in then you have to look at their education level as well and what schools they attended.

Some music producers only get around 20 thousand a year while others can make up to and more than 1 million a year. This can almost be compared to one single hit versus to a hundred chart topping singles and albums.

Deciding to or focusing on the music industry is a life altering experience and can be the difference between living well off for the rest of your life to barely making it or worse yet not making it at all. I hope this music producer information has been helpful.

Euro Millions Lottery - Massive Rollovers Generate Worldwide Interest

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Euro millions is a pan-european lottery that was initially launched on the 7th February 2004. It was devised and created by the company Camelot. On the evening of February 13th, 2004, the very first drawing took place in Paris. The first countries that started euro millions were Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. The success of the euro millions lottery was evident and inspired the additions of Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. They joined in October 8th 2004. Just 8 months after its creation. Euromillions has become the dominant lottery game in each of the respective countries it in which it is affiliated.

The drawings are held each friday evening. The drawings take place in Paris, France. The base ticket sales are €2 per individual play. Countries that don’t use the euro make the plays cost the rough relative equivalence in their own currency. In England a euro millions play would cost £1.50, and these prices are fixed rates per play. The jackpot is always provided by euromillions and the minor prizes are commonly given out by the local lottery companies that are affiliated with euromillions.

The euro millions lottery is played in a simple fashion. There are two sets of numbers, the main numbers and the lucky star numbers. Euromillions main numbers range from 1 to 50 and of these, 5 are picked. Out of the lucky star numbers there are two that are selected from one to nine as possible choices.

The chances of landing the jackpot are 1 in 76,275,360. Because of the high odds on winning the jackpot many people buy multiple tickets or join a lottery syndicate in order to decrease these odds and increase their winning chances. If there is no winner of the jackpot then the winnings are rolled over to the next week. On occasion the jackpot has rolled over to in excess of 70 million euros, which is approx £50 million pounds or $80 millions US dollars. These massive rollover jackpots have generated worldwide attention.

One aspect of the euro millions lottery that has created contension is a rule that has only recently been introduced this being the “roll back” - this rule applies when the jackpot has rolled over for 11 consective weeks with no jackpot winner. The effect of this is that on the final week, if there is again no jackpot winner, then the jackpot prize is awarded and shared with the next tier down i.e. those people that have correctly matched the 4 main numbers and 2 lucky star numbers. The reason for this is to prevent the jackpots from growing to astronomical proportions. This is in many ways better for the lottery player as it means that on occasion when the “roll back” does occur players can get a share of the jackpot without having to get the 5 main and 2 lucky star numbers as is usually the situation. Therefore on a “roll back” week there is actually a better chance to win the jackpot.

The euromillions lottery has proven to be a mainstay and with the spreading influence of the euro it is growing faster than any other lottery in the world. With the massive rollover jackpots the euro millions draw has on offer it is sure to become increasingly popular attracting lottery players not just from within europe but from all corners of the world.

Ken McLeod is an executive member of the elottery syndicate system that effectively increases your chances of winning euro–millions.co.uk/ euro millions by 3600% and allows members from all over the world to play the euro millions lottery on a weekly basis. Top Mistakes Made By New Poker Players

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

The human brain is a funny thing, and people really can convince themselves of certain things based on the limited information they have at hand. If the result is positive in a game like poker a person might begin to believe that they are highly skilled, extremely lucky, or just a natural at the game.

Or on the flipside, a negative result might drudge up a number of different ideas. Maybe the players they are playing against don’t know how to play the game properly and keep lucking out on them, or maybe they themselves are just supremely unlucky. Another popular belief amongst new bad poker players is that the game must be “all luck″ and it doesn’t matter what cards you play because anything can happen.

As I said, the human brain is a complex and funny thing in that it can allow the ego to create many grand illusions to explain away certain circumstances. Here are some common delusions that new players tend to come up with:

1. I just started playing and have won every time I’ve played against my friends, therefore I am a natural at the game and am likely already a good player.

2. Based on past good experiences I am already a pretty good player and will therefore move to become a “good” or “great″ player in a relatively short period of time. Getting good at this game will be easy because I am a natural. I will not need to work as hard at getting better as my friends will because I can already beat them.

3. Since I have been winning a lot at home games, I should be able to easily transition into playing online / at the casino and make a lot of money quickly.

Typically the new ambitious player will then venture forth into the world of online (or live) poker and is likely to experience one of the following results.

1. Win a lot of money and continue to have delusions of being the grand master pimp daddy of poker.

2. Break even, but feel they are just having a run of bad luck and the next big win is just around the corner.

3. Lose all of their money, but blame the losses on circumstances beyond their control (luck, other bad lucky players, etc.)

Trust me, I’ve been there. It’s easy to think that after a few wins or losses that you are either the best player in the world, or the most unlucky.

The thing about poker is that while it’s a really easy game to pick up, it’s very difficult to consistently win over long periods of time without some strong fundamental knowledge of the game and good practice.

If you are just getting into poker, or feel that you need improvement, here are some tips to getting yourself back on the right track.

1. Don’t just PLAY poker, take the time to STUDY the game. When you first start out to improve your game you should be studying the game at least twice as much as you are playing. If you aren’t following this advice then you are only hindering your chances at becoming a winning player and it will take much longer to succeed.

Many people would tell you that in order to succeed you just need to play more. My advice is to play LESS.

Start by playing maybe 50-100 hands per session. Record various interesting scenarios that you find yourself or other players in, either by writing them down or using PokerTracker. Now take the time to really examine the situations and find out the things you are doing right and the things you are doing wrong. Then read and re-read through your best poker books to increase your knowledge of the game.

If you are spending 1 hour at the tables, then spend 2 hours reading your poker books and studying your play.

2. Try to pay close attention to one table. Don’t watch TV, don’t zone out when you fold preflop (especially if playing live), and don’t multitable. This is essential when you are first learning the game, because if you aren’t paying close attention to what’s going on then you probably aren’t thinking about half of the things you should be. Definitely a top mistake, and one that is easily remedied.

3. Understand variance and don′t be results oriented. Don′t allow your ego to create illusions that you are a really good player if you are winning, or really unlucky if you are losing. If Daniel Negreanu were to sit down at a table of new players he would think nothing of losing money for a long stretch. The reason for this is that he knows that if he plays his fundamentally sound game he will be a winner in the long run.

And that’s the golden goose all aspiring players should be chasing - long term success. And I’m not talking about a few hundred hands or even your last 10 sessions. I’m talking about 50,000 - 100,000 hands, or perhaps a whole year or more of playing. Variance can make any player look good or bad in the short term but in the long term the good players will be obviously more successful than the rest, and the bad ones will find themselves out of money.

Variance can play with your mind and convince you of many things about your game. The best thing you can do is keep studying, keep reviewing your play, and keep playing. Have others review your hands, think about the game away from the tables, and post in poker forums and you are sure to find your game improve.

It might not happen overnight, but if you put in the effort your future winning poker player self will thank you.

WSOP Wagering

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Picking a World Poker Tour event champion is like finding a stolen dog in Las Vegas.

It’s the old proverbial needle in a haystack.

Tabbing a World Series of Poker champion in this day and age, with upwards of 8,000 entrants expected for the 2006 event, could be likened to finding a bottle with a note addressed to you on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.

It used to be much easier when only hundreds of players entered the fray, but now, with thousands …

Nevada books are forbidden by state law to accept wagers on the WSOP, though one book tried to get away with it years ago and learned quickly such odds were verboten.

“It would take a consortium of major sports books to go to the Gaming Control Board to request it (WSOP betting) and I don’t think that’s going to happen,” said Las Vegas Hilton oddsmaker Jeff Sherman.

A few British outlets have dispensed odds, heavy on Europeans and listing former European Player of the Year David “El Blondie” Colclough as the early favorite.

Top international stars such as Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan, Chris Ferguson and the other usual suspects also are listed among favorites.

Offshore book BetUSA.com has posted a wide array of odds, ranging up to 3,000/1.

Ivey is the favorite at 150/1, with Negreanu at 225/1, Howard Lederer and Phil Hellmuth at 250/1, Gus Hansen, Ferguson and John Juanda at 300/1 and Barry Greenstein, Carlos Mortenson, 2004 champion Greg “Fossilman” Raymer, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi and Layne Flack at 400/1.

Annie Duke is the favored female at 500/1, the same as Phil “Unabomber″ Laak.

Laak’s longtime girlfriend Jennifer Tilley is 1500/1, along with Isabelle Mercier.

Defending champion Joe Hachem is 1000/1, the same as World Poker Tour broadcaster Mike Sexton.

Steve Dannenmann, last year’s runnerup, is 2000/1.

Colclough is 750/1.

Costa Rican-based BoDog.com has taken another route.

Understanding the scope of just how difficult it would be for a person to choose a WSOP winner in advance, the House of Ayre is offering the wagering public a variety of propositions that are tied into the tournament.

Props ask if the winner will be male (minus $15.00) or female (plus $10.00) and from the USA (minus $4.50) or the rest of the world (plus $2.75).

Bettors also can wager on what the winning hand will be.

Odds are: royal flush, 210/1, straight flush, 155/1, four of a kind, 60/1, full house, 8/1; high card, 17/4; flush, 2/1; two pair, 8/5; pair, 7/4; and straight and three of a kind, 1/1.

Players also can get action on what the age of the champion will be.

Age 36 to 40 is the favorite at 3/2, while 31 to 35 and 41 to 45 are 3/1.

8 Easy Musical Instruments That You Can Learn To Play Quickly

Friday, February 27th, 2009

There is really nothing in the world like music. There have been studies to show the amazing effect that is has on the human brain, such as the link between music and spatial intelligence. The only thing that can compare with listening to music is the ability to make our own music.

Not everyone is as gifted as the rest when it comes to playing music. Not all of us have the time, or want to invest the time in learning to play a complicated instrument such as the piano. That does not mean that we don′t all want to be able to play an instrument. There are easy musical instruments that you can learn to play quickly. Here are eight:

1. Drums. If you have a pretty good sense of rhythm, drums are a fairly easy musical instrument that you can learn to play quickly. You won’t be great, but you can sure have fun. There are many kinds of drums, from the congo drum to the high hat to the bass drum to the snare drum. Drums, along with the tambourine, belong to the percussion family. Which means the hitting of one body against another the drum is also played with the hands or a person can use one to two sticks. It is just a matter of counting beats as you play, either mechanically or by feeling the beat.

2. Tambourines. This easy musical instrument is made up of a shallow hand held drum, usually made from a circular piece of wood and calf skin or plastic that is stretched across the top. You play it with your hands, stroking or shaking the jingle or rubbing, shaking or striking the drum head with your knuckles. Play what feels good.

3. Bongos. Another percussion instrument that is easy to learn to play are the bongos. Bongos are a type of drum made up of two sections, one of which is larger then the other. The drums are attached to one another. Played by placing the bongos between the knees, they produce a high pitched sound. When the bongos are placed between the knees correctly, the larger drum will be to the right. Traditionally, they are played by striking the tops with your fingers and palms. There are times when the bongos are played with sticks and brushes. It is possible to alter the sound from the bongos by placing one hand on the top of the drum and then beat it with the other hand.

4. Comb buzzer. We can look at a couple wind instruments that are also easy musical instruments that you can learn to play quickly. One of my favorites would be the comb buzzer. This instrument is truly one anyone that can breathe can play. It is not only easy; you can make it at home. You take a pocket comb and tissue paper. Hold the tissue paper against the comb and hum through the tissue paper. This produces a buzzing sound and it tickles the lips.

5. Kazoo. If you are having fun with the comb buzzer, then try the kazoo. The kazoo is also a fun instrument that is played by humming. The kazoo adds a humming noise. People play the kazoo by closing your lips around the kazoo and singing into it. Most people that try to hum into the kazoo are not very successful. But if you sing into it, for example, repeating the word do, do, do, do in to the kazoo you get that wonderful humming sound.

6. Recorder. The next step up from the kazoo, is the recorder. It is a fun and easy to learn instrument that you can learn to play quickly. To play the recorder, you hold it outward from your lips, unlike the traditional flute that is held sideways. You then blow or breath, really, into the recorder, and the pitch or note that is played varies by the open finger holes. You can use all parts of your mouth to manipulate the sound from the recorder. In particular, use the tongue and the diaphragm to help control air flow, hence lengthening the time a note is held and how many different notes are played on a breath. Quality recorders come in many sizes and are made of wood. There are also plastic recorders, used widely in schools, and sometimes also known as a “tonette”. Tin whistles and ocarinas are similar types of recorders.

7. Xylophone. Often used in the orchestra as a serious instrument, the xylophone is a like a piano keyboard that you strike with mallets. With the larger, lower-sounding bars on the left, the notes of the xylophone are laid out much like a piano keyboard. Striking the bars with hard mallets produces a bright, sharp sound. Xylophones made of wood can be very expensive, but for fun and quick learning, a small xylophone made of metal or metal and plastic is ideal, and are used in many schools.

8. Autoharp. The autoharp is a musical instrument having a series of chord bars attached to dampers which, when depressed, mute all the strings other than those that form the chord you want to play. The autoharp is not really a harp at all, but in reality is a zither.

As you can see, just because you are limited on time or possibly ability does not mean that you can not play an instrument for your own enjoyment. There are easy musical instruments that you can learn to play quickly. Percussion instruments and wind instruments make for easy learning and quick fun. Enjoy the benefits of making music and find a new talent or at least a new hobby.

Pai Gow Poker - Fun and Easy Game for Casino Players

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Pai gow poker is a derivative of the Chinese domino game gai gow.

Like many Chinese games is played at a leisurely pace and is an enjoyable game.

Another advantage is your bankroll tends to last a long time.

How to Win Pai Gow

Pai gow poker is played with a 53 card deck and includes one joker. The game is one on one, the player or players compete against a banker, to get the best possible hand.

The Play

A random roll of the dice determines what player receives the first set of cards.

Each player is dealt seven cards and splits them into two separate hands.

This is called “setting the hand″. The first is made up of five cards and is called “the highest hand″ or “the back”.

The second hand is made up of the remaining two cards and is called “the second highest” or “the front” or “low″ hand.

The 5 card hand must always rank higher than the 2 card hand to win.

If both of your hands beat the dealer’s hands, you receive even money or 1:1 on your bet. The bank then takes a 5% commission from your winnings.

If both your hands lose against the dealer’s hands, the dealer takes the bet.

If you win only one of the two hands, the round finishes in a tie and the banker collects.

In the game of Pai Gow Poker, the player needs to get two strong hands and win on both hands.

The house has a 2.3% advantage in this game.

chances of winning.

Ensure you are setting both high and low hands properly.

Try to make both hands fairly strong to win both hands otherwise you will end up with at tie.

Your bank hand must be set higher that your front hand otherwise you will “foul″ your hand and lose the bet you place.

Basic strategy is straightforward:

Always check your hand for flushes and then set your hand according to strategy rules below:

No pairs, no straight, no flush

2- Use second and third highest card
5- use your highest card

A pair, no pairs, no flushes

2- Use two highest single cards
5- use the pair

Two pair if you have a single ace, use the ace in the two-card hand and keep the pairs together in the five-card hand, or split the pairs:

2- use lower pair
5- use higher pair

Three pairs

2- Use highest pair
5- use second and third highest pairs

straight and two pair play as two pair, ignore the straight
Five-card straight

2- Use two cards not in the straight
5- use straight

Six-card straight

2- Use highest cards that you can
5- use remaining straight

Flush and two pair play as two pair, ignore the flush other flush

2- Play highest cards in this hand
without breaking up flush
5- flush

Full house

2- Use pair
5- uses three of a kind

Best chance of winning in pai gow poker – Be the banker

The best way to get an edge and win in pai gow poker is to be the banker.

This is due to the fact that the banker wins all copies.

Player’s are usually allowed to bank for one or two consecutive hands before passing the banker option on to the next player.

The amount of money that the banker will be risking is limited to what the banker places down on the table.

Betting in pai gow poker

The banker should place enough money on the table to cover all of the player bets, or the banker may be allowed to risk less than what the players in total wish to bet.

The most important factor in improving your odds in pai gow is the ratio of how much is bet when you are the banker to when you are the player.

You should really be willing to risk enough money to cover 6 – 14 times the table minimum bet.

Guitar Sheet Music

Friday, February 27th, 2009

As you take guitar lessons either on your own or with a help of a professional guitar player, you are most likely to encounter guitar sheet music. Guitar sheet music is a printed musical notation for guitar. If you are serious in learning how to play a guitar like a pro, you have to learn what guitar sheet music is, what it does and how it is used as early as now.

There are basically two types of musical notations for guitar: standard notation and tablature. These notations tell you which notes to play on your guitar.

Standard Notation

In this kind of notation, the notes are written in a five-line musical staff. You must be able to identify the notes in the staff and locate the equivalent note on your guitar. Each kind of note has its own duration — for instance, a quarter note lasts one beat; a half note, two beats and a whole note, four beats.

Mnemonics are usually used to identify and remember the notes in the staff easily. Notes that are found in the spaces between the lines form the word FACE while the notes found in the lines form EGBDF, which can be easily recalled by the mnemonic “Every Good Boy Does Fine.”

The note located at the ledger line below the staff is called the middle C. On the guitar, the middle C lies on the fifth string.

Tablature

This kind of guitar notation tells you exactly where to position your fingers on the guitar. It consists of six horizontal lines that represent the six strings of the instrument. If you look at the staff closely, you will see numbers on the lines. Each of these corresponds to a fret in the guitar.

Since a guitar tablature or a tab shows a clear-cut illustration of the fretboard, it is much easier to use. Also, a guitar tab avoids confusion since notes in a standard notation can be played in different strings and frets.

However, a tab may only be used for guitars while a standard notation is applicable to many kinds of instruments. Moreover, you cannot identify the rhythm of the song if you are using only a tablature. For better appreciation of the music, it would be better to get a guitar sheet music with both standard and tablature notations.

Money Equals Success?

Friday, February 27th, 2009

One of the most important things you will do in life is find a career. For most people this means you will find an environment that you feel comfortable in and work on something that you’re at least semi-interested in. You will thrive under these circumstances and most likely work in that field for at least twenty years. You will hopefully attempt to accomplish as much as possible with your job. Basically there is no alternative to this lifestyle. Whether you’re an employee of McDonald’s or a famous rapper. Though one profession is more lucrative than the other. You will still work to live within your means.

Now the question I was contemplating today. Is a funny one. Its pretty hard to judge as well. There is no correct answer to it. I’m just going to give you perspective on it.

Does money equal success in life? Honestly, there is a multitude of correct answers for this inquiry. Now I’ll tell you my opinion than bring it full circle with the current state of hip-hop.

The amount of money that you make can determine your living arrangements, how many vacations you take, levels of stress, and many other things. Does any of that equal success though? Not in my opinion. Let me tell you, how I reached that conclusion.

Dictionary.com, defines success as “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors.” That’s their main definition for the word. When you think of success you obviously think of money. That’s how our society has betrayed it. Luckily words are just used to express thoughts. I define it as being prosperous in life. Having a rich life doesn’t mean that you have to make a million dollars a year. It means you have to live life to the fullest. Than you have lived a rich experience. Living life to the fullest means not always dwelling on the negative. Adventuring your different levels of enjoyment. Becoming more diverse and expanding your knowledge in my opinion. If you do all of the above. You have accomplished a lot.

Which leads us into the actual point of this blog to talk about hip-hop! I basically went on that little rant to give you a metaphor of how mainstream hip-hop is not successful in my eyes. Even though it is making hundreds of billions of dollars. While I think the underground is living life to the fullest and being successful. If that means that a few rappers have to work a real day job and than get home to rap. Than that’s all it means.

Money doesn’t equal success. The only way you (hip-hop) can be successful is to expand your horizons. Remember someday you (hip-hop) won’t exist (Hip-Hop Is Alive Now). Everything has an inevitable extinction. When you’re looked back upon how will you (hip-hop) be defined? Will you be deemed successful by the amount of fortune you attained in your life time. I’d like to think not. The only thing that determines success in my opinion is the amount you accomplished. Do you know how much money Shakespeare had. Most likely not. Do you know he was one of the greatest writers in this planets history? Most likely. Its not a coincidence his acts are still played six hundred years later. You think Mike Jones will be played six hundred years from now? Nope. Do you think Nas’s lyrics could be observed six hundred years from now? A possibility?

I will finally conclude. Does it matter that hip-hop has been commercialized in way that was never intended. Absolutely. Should real hip-hop fans be angry at the fact? They have the right to be. Does it congregate hip-hops success? Not in my opinion. As long as we have real hip-hop being created. Real hip-hop won’t be dying anytime in the foreseeable future. Real hip-hop will also be successful at least in my eyes.

Learn How to Play Acoustic Guitar - 5 Tips To Get You Playing Fast

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Contrary to popular belief, it’s not actually that difficult to learn how to play acoustic guitar. True, there are varying levels of ability, if you want to become on of the world’s premiere acoustic guitarists it’s going to take some work, but if you are just looking to be able to pick out a few tunes at parties you should be able to accomplish that pretty easily. I’ve got a few tips here that should help you in your quest, whatever your aim as a musician.

Learn How To Play Acoustic Guitar-Tip 1:
Learn to tune the instrument-nothing sounds worse than an instrument that isn’t in tune-the audience will know too! Even if you rely on an electronic tuner to tune the instrument, spend a few minutes each time attempting to tune it by ear. You’ll find that after a while you have to use the electronic one to correct yourself less and less, and eventually not at all.

Learn How To Play Acoustic Guitar-Tip 2:
Learn to control the instrument-Spend some time working on muting with both hands, so that whenever you play, the only strings making a sound are the ones you want to make a sound.

Learn How To Play Acoustic Guitar-Tip 3:
Learn as many different strumming patterns as possible. The sound of the strumming pattern can totally change a song and allow you to put your own spin on it, which will not only make you stand out as a musician but it will allow you to enjoy your performance more also. Imagine Knocking on Heaven’s Door with a flamenco rhythm?

Learn How To Play Acoustic Guitar-Tip 4:
Learn something slowly before you attempt it at speed. This way you can get a real idea of where the weak spots are. For example there may be one particular chord that isn’t ringing out cleanly because of your fingering, but when you play the song fast it’s not noticeable to you. If you slow it down though, you’ll be able to fix it. A simple tip like this can do wonders and really help to maximize your efforts as you learn how to play acoustic guitar.

Learn How To Play Acoustic Guitar-Tip 5:
Play through the pain-It’s quite common for people to experience mild pain or discomfort in the very tips of their fingers, simply from pushing the strings down. This is quite normal, and don’t worry, it lessens dramatically the more time you put in. You will eventually develop pads of thicker skin on the tips of the fingers on your fretting hand, and these will stop the pain nicely.

If you put these tips into practice, you will see that it’s not that difficult to learn how to play acoustic guitar, all it requires is a little practice and determination on your part.

Black and White Photography: No Color is Good

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

The world of black and white photography is considered a Fine Art form and it is done to induce an emotion of timelessness and freeze a moment at any given time. It goes without saying that a few great photographers like Ansel Adams and Steigletz have made black and white photography what it is to today and even long after their deaths keep it strong and alive. This type of a picture is a true classic form of art and extremely breathe taking. There can never be enough said about black and white photography, but the pictures themselves will speak volumes for all that are looking at them.

Black and white film comes in a few different classes. The tabular black and white film is a new and thinner emulsion film that has more of a surface area and it gives off less depth with high sharpness. Conventional film is the standard type that gives off a superior detail to highlight and was used before the tabular film was introduced in 1988. Orthochromatic film is the best for shots of people and landscapes and gives off a tone that stands above all other film types. Chromogenic film uses dyes and not the silver particles that are used by the other film types. There is no control over the development process and it is more difficult to work with.

There really is no other special equipment or camera that is needed for black and white photography, only the film. When you bring in your roll of film to a store to be developed just let the person behind the counter know what it is. Some places specialize in the development of black and white and it is best to use their services to gain the true feelings you desired to achieve and portray with the photos. Other places develop this type of film, but in return you may not get the true color, or lack of color you desired.
